Authentic Harris Tweed woven at Luskentyre, Harris by Donald John Mackay in 2metre or 4metre lengths are now available at The Captain’s Cabin in Ullapool, with a variety of colours and designs available, including Herringbone and a large checked pattern.
Made entirely from recycled plastic bottles, Weaver Green rugs and textiles look and feel like wool but are perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
With between 100 and 750 recycled 50cl plastic PET bottles used to make each rug, Weaver Green offer an ethical, environmentally friendly and practical option for your home or garden.

From Easter Sunday our Opening Hours will be:
Monday – Saturday 9am-6pm and Sundays 10am-5pm
The Captain’s Cabin is still open 6 days a week with lots of lovely knitwear, Harris Tweed handbags, Harris tweed wallets or purses, Cath Waters Scottish Landscape Art mugs, tiles, coasters and framed prints, as well as candles, Dunoon Pottery mugs and Teapots. Well, we could carry on and mention all of our stock, but the list would be endless, so please do call in.
